Nicholas Cage is ‘very sweet’

When Lily Sheen found out she was going to play Nicolas Cage’s daughter in “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent”, it took a while for the news to get through. “It really didn’t feel like a real situation until I got to the set,” she told us. “It was amazing. I’m obsessed with Nic as an actor and as a man. I’ve always been ‘the man, the myth, the legend’.”

As for the actor, who? won an Oscar before his performance in 1995’s “Leaving Las Vegas,” as in real life, Sheen said, “He was instantly incredibly warm and incredibly inviting. Being a dad gives him that great dad energy.”

Aside from playing father and daughter on screen, the couple also bonded with movies. “I really like horror, and he really likes horror and very niche interests that I didn’t expect from him at all,” she explained. And despite fearing working with an icon, Sheen revealed that Cage was extremely approachable on set. “I thought, ‘He’s Nic Cage, he’s not going to give me the time of day,'” she said. “But he was really sweet.”
