Disarm is the latest anti-cheat measure Team Ricochet has been working on for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone.

Today we share another mitigation technique from our toolbox: Disarm. As the name implies, when cheaters are detected, we simply take their weapons away from them (including their fists).

We don’t expect many clips of this to make their way online, but we’ve seen it in action and the responses from cheaters are always priceless.

The publishing giant also revealed that it has issued more than 180,000 bans for both games since the last update in April.

Activision will release the next installment in its first-person shooter franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, in October 2022 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
