Abigail Hazel from SmoothCreationsOnline This issue has apparently been resolved by turning off the console, removing the ethernet cable, disconnecting a third party hard drive, then disconnecting and reconnecting the Xbox console. Another possible solution could be to offline system update† This means that you go to the official Xbox website and get a OSU1 file to a FAT32 formatted USB drive that must have at least 6 GB of free space. Once you’ve saved all the necessary files to your USB flash drive, turn your Xbox on and off and unplug it for 30 seconds. Reconnect the Xbox after waiting 30 seconds. Press and hold the Pair and Eject button at the same time, then press the Power button. Continue to hold the Pair and Eject buttons together until you hear a series of startup sounds, then release the buttons. This will take you to a troubleshooting screen. Then insert your USB drive with the Xbox update on it. The option “Offline system update” is then visible. Click on that option and your Xbox should be fully updated before restarting. After this you should be all set!
