WB Games Montreal revealed in a Q&A on the official Gotham Knights website that the game will not contain microtransactions.
“No. Gotham Knights has no in-game purchases or microtransactions,” it simply reads. Elsewhere, the Q&A confirms that no internet connection is required to play solo, although this is obviously required if you’re playing the game online co-op.
Speaking of co-op, Gotham Knights doesn’t support Cross-Play for this feature, so you’re limited to teaming up with people in the same format you’re playing in.
