Resident Evil Publisher capcom has revealed that the company plans to release “multiple major new titles” by the end of its fiscal year ending March 31, 2023.

During the company’s latest financial report, Capcom announced it plans to sell 37 million units of software during this period, including 10 million from new titles and 27 million from back catalog. This number is higher than last year’s 32.6 million.

We already know that Capcom has a pretty busy 2022 ahead of us, with Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard all set to hit the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The company is also working on Street Fighter 6, Exoprimal and Pragmata for 2023.

At the moment it is unknown if we will release a new Resident Evil game next year. Well, not unless you count the long-delayed multiplayer spin-off Resident Evil Re:Verse, a game that was originally supposed to launch alongside Resident Evil Village last year but was pushed back to 2022.

Even so, we’ve still heard murmurs about Resident Evil 9 and Resident Evil Revelations 3, both of which are believed to be in development, although the former isn’t expected to see the light of day for a while.

Then of course we have Resident Evil 4 remakea game that hasn’t been officially announced yet, but is expected to launch in 2023. However, this could very well come after March 31.
