Square Enix has revealed that it ‘recommends’ Balan Wonder World with confidence” in response to comments from director Yuji Naka, who claimed the game was in a bad shape when it was released last March.
In case you missed it, Sonic the Hedgehog creator Naka-san revealed last month that he was removed as the Balan Wonderworld director six months before launch. As a result, he filed a lawsuit against Square Enix, and was highly critical of the company for releasing what he believed to be an “unfinished” product.
During Square Enix’s latest financial call, the staid revealed it was involved in a lawsuit with Naka, but did not go into further details. Despite this, the publisher said “it’s a game we recommend with confidence.”
